Megan Piper is Executive Director of Grand Arts CIC: www.thegrandfolkestone.org.uk.
Prior to this, she co-founded The Line, East London’s public art trail (www.the-line.org) with the late regeneration expert Clive Dutton OBE, and served as its Director from 2015-2025. She continues to support the organisation as an advisor.
For the best part of a decade, Megan Piper represented a small number of artists and artist estates with a focus on rediscovering and re-evaluating artists whose careers had started in the 1960s and 70s. She ran The Piper Gallery in Fitzrovia (2012-13) and had spaces on Jermyn Street, St James’s (2016-17) and Dover Street, Mayfair (2017). Her programme aimed to present artists to a new generation and to demonstrate both the strength of their lifelong commitment to their work and the continuing dynamism of their recent production. She also realised a number of exhibitions in collaboration with other commercial galleries.
