This website is an archive of Megan Piper’s gallery programme.
For the best part of a decade, Megan Piper represented a small number of artists and artist estates with a focus on rediscovering and re-evaluating artists whose careers had started in the 1960s and 70s. She opened The Piper Gallery in Fitzrovia in 2012 and, after closing, went on to have a space on Jermyn Street in St James’s. Her programme aimed to present artists to a new generation and to demonstrate both the strength of their lifelong commitment to their work and the continuing dynamism of their recent production. Megan Piper’s last exhibitions were realised in collaboration with other galleries.
Her work is now focused on East London’s public art trail, The Line, which she co-founded in 2015 (www.the-line.org).
